Ampem Darkoa Wins First Match In Women’s Champions League

Ampem Darkoa Beats ASFAR

Ampem Darkoa ladies were too good for the defending champions of the CAF Women’s Champions League, ASFAR, as Comfort Yeboah’s brace in the second half handed them a win in their first champions league game.

Najat Badri got the first goal for ASFAR in the eighth minute of the game to get the Ghanaians scared.

Ampem Darkoa, having settled well in the game, piled enough pressure on the champions as they eventually got the equalizer in the 56th minute of the game through Comfort Yeboah.

Comfort Yeboah got her second and Ampem Darkoa’s second of the game in the 62nd minute.

The Moroccans piled more pressure on the Ghanaians but we’re not able to break the backline of the Ghanaians as the game ended 2 – 1.

On Thursday, November 9, 2023, Ampem Darkoa will face AS Mande from Mali in the second round of matches in the tournament.
