Hearts Of Oak head coach, Martin Koopman has been the first victim to be sacked in the Ghana Premier League after the phobians parted ways with him due to a string of poor results at the start of the league season.
According to thr team, his sacking is as a result of restructuring programme on the technical team.
Abdul Raheem Bashiru, the assistant coach will take charge of the first team in the interim.
Though there has been little improvement in results, the team has drawn in their last three games and has not scored a goal in the last two games.
Hearts Of Oak are 9 points behind league leaders Aduana FC and has accumulated just 12 points after 10 games in the GPL.
Koopman took over the affairs of Hearts Of Oak from 18th August, 2023 and stayed with the club for approximately 3 months.
Abdul Raheem Bashiru will be in charge for the phobians against Accra Lions on Tuesday, November 21,2023 in the week 11 game of the GPL at the Accra Sports Stadium.
