Oldest Football Clubs In Ghana

Hearts Of Oak is the oldest club in Ghana and one of the most successful clubs in the country. The club was founded in 1911.

They are nicknamed “phobia” and plays at the Accra Sports Stadium as their home grounds.

Hearts Of Oak has won many league titles, FA Cups, CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup and the CAF Super cup.

2. Kumasi Asante Kotoko
Kotoko is another successful club in Ghana founded in 1935.

They are nicknamed”porcupine warriors” and use the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as their home grounds.

Kotoko has won the most league titles in Ghana.

Founded in 1932, Olympics is one of the oldest clubs in Ghana.

They are nicknamed “Dade” and the Accra Sports Stadium is their home grounds.

Olympics has won league titles and has a historic moment in Ghana football.

The are nicknamed *Hasmal” and plays at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.

They have a huge crowd in the western region of Ghana and has had a past history.
