1. Jayden Daniels, LSU (LW: 3)

2. Michael Penix Jr., Washington (LW: 1)

3. JJ McCarthy, Michigan (LW: 8)

4. Caleb Williams, USC (LW: 2)

5. Drake Maye, North Carolina (LW: 4)

6. Bo Nix, Oregon (LW: 6)

7. Dillon Gabriel, Oklahoma (LW: 7)

8. Shedeur Sanders, Colorado (LW: 5)

9. Jordan Travis, Florida State (LW: 10)

10. Carson Beck, Georgia (LW: 9)

At No. 1, Daniels has put together the most-complete season at the quarterback position this year and should be the Heisman frontrunner through eight weeks. Daniels, against Army, completed 11 of 15 passes for 279 yards and three scores with no interceptions. He was our No. 1 QB in these rankings a few weeks ago before switching spots with Penix. Daniels and LSU travel to Alabama after the open week.
